Getting from Linz Urfahr to the start of the 17. Oberbank Linz Donau Marathon
There are different possibilities for participants and spectators coming from the north of Upper Austria, as the Linzer „Eisenbahnbrücke“ is blocked because of demolition. Getting to the start for those coming from „Steyregg“ is the same as the past few years. The easiest way is via the “Steyregger bridge” to the motorway A7, to the exit “Hafenstraße”. There are parking slots at the “Industriezeile” (Plasser & Theurer parking slots).
Furthermore, it is possible to use the sidewalk of the “Nibelungen Bridge”. You will pass the Brucknerhaus (cloth bag deposition) and directly get to the start at the “Voest Bridge”.
Another possibility for those coming from Urfahr, is walking directly via the “Voest Bridge” on the pavement, direction Urfahr to Linz. It is possible to use the PRO Parking slots in Urfahr.
PLAN SUFFICIENT TIME TO ARRIVE AT THE START!!
