After the half marathon and marathon, we can now offer another course certified by World Athletics - the Generali 5K!
The official AIMS measurement of the new short course took place on December 17, 2023 by certified surveyor and Linz Marathon expert Rainer Soos and was supported and secured by the Linz city police. Starting near the Generali building on Untere Donaulände, the course runs past the Brucknerhaus Linz, along Gruberstraße to the ORF Landesstudio OÖ, on to the Linz Landestheater, around the Volksgarten and along Landstraße to the finish line on Linz's main square. The route is typically flat and fast in Linz and therefore absolutely suitable for record-breaking.
