How companies taking part in Upper Austria's running festival in April can now benefit even more than before
The Linz Danube Marathon offers companies an excellent opportunity to strengthen team spirit, promote the joy of physical exercise and at the same time take a positive step towards promoting health in the workplace by getting their employees to take part. This benefits employees, employers and health insurance companies alike. Above all, regular training for a run, whether individually or in a group, improves health. According to the large-scale "Copenhagen City Heart Study", running training two to three times a week for a total of 90 to 120 minutes at a moderate pace is enough to extend your life by an average of six years. The silver package includes a private running workshop at the company with a professional coach.
Participation in an event of this size with thousands of starters - the marathon has long since grown to become Upper Austria's largest mass sports event - offers the opportunity to present the company as a whole and to a large audience. Specially made running shirts, which can be booked through the organizer at more favourable conditions, also serve this purpose. Events of this kind are also ideal for networking.
