Who is the most athletic fire department in the country?
At the 19th Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon on October 24, 2021, the most athletic fire department in the country will be chosen according to the motto "Fit for Firefighting".
Several times Upper Austria's fire departments have already proven that you not only mission, but also make a good figure while running! In order to support the districts from Upper Austria even better and thus also to offer more equal opportunities, not only the fastest fire department is awarded, but there are also lucrative prizes for the fire department with the most participants (as a percentage of members) and the district with the most participants in Upper Austria.
The "Fire Brigade Runs" campaign is an initiative of the organizers of the Linz Danube Marathon with the aim of achieving the highest possible participation by Upper Austrian "fire department" runners in the following events:
Registration: The responsible person of the respective fire department requests the registration link for the "Feuerwehr läuft" online registration at linzmarathon@liva.linz.at.
Until October 1, 2021, there is then the possibility to register for the Linz Marathon. When registering, it is imperative that the member's syBOS number and the respective fire department number be provided. Only with the indication of both numbers a proper evaluation of the "Feuerwehr läuft!"-ranking can take place!
The settlement will be made after October 1, 2021 as a collective invoice to the respective fire department. The organizer can offer a special treat to the participants of the "Feuerwehr läuft" project: The fees of the first entry deadline will be charged!
