As in previous years, this year there are experienced runners who run at a certain pace and as a result, exactly meet the targeted marathon time.
The pacemakers cannot be overlooked. Each pacemaker standing in the appropriate starting blocks will be wearing a bright yellow t-shirt with the target time printed on it, likewise all pace makers will be wearing blue-red-yellow flags with the target time printed on them.
There will be 8 pacemakers with finish times between 3:00h and 4:45h.
On Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. the pace makers will be presented on the action stage during the Marathon Sports Fair in the TipsArena Linz.
