Many success stories have been written at the Linz Marathon. Records have made headlines, and personal moments of glory will remain unforgotten. Since 2002, the Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon has moved not only thousands of runners, but also an entire country. Step by step, this running festival has developed into a landmark of the Upper Austrian capital.
After a cancellation in 2020 due to a pandemic, the tireless "Linz Marathon Family" of political, organizational and financial pacesetters showed true marathon stamina and put together a brilliant new start last fall. The great enthusiasm of the participants was compensation for the many extra laps that had to be made in preparation. And at the same time it is a mandate to do everything in our power to ensure that this festival of the joy of movement is a success again this year.
On October 23, 2022, the Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon will celebrate a round anniversary and will also serve as the official venue for the 2022 Austrian State Championship in the half marathon. Celebrate with us!
