With DORIS, the Geoinformation Department of the state supports athletes as well as spectators, attendants and fans.
The system offers the possibility to plan the marathon event in terms of time and location in advance and to print it out in the form of a personal map including all important times.
Automatic calculation of the route times
By entering the targeted total running time or the running time per kilometer, all detailed times for all route sections are automatically calculated and entered on a colored city map with the respective route.
This service is available for the marathon, half, quarter and relay marathons. You can also find the route maps of all the competitions on the DORIS Marathon Service website.
The course of the 23. Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon is measured by AIMS - Surveyor Mag. Rainer Soos with the Jones Counter bicycle according to the IAAF guidelines.
