LINZ AG is an important marathon supporter in front of and behind the scenes of the race.
LINZ AG is represented at Upper Austria's largest running event as the name sponsor of the popular quarter marathon as well as on and off the running courses.
Numerous employees are working behind the scenes - for the supply of electricity and water, waste disposal or even the best possible protection of public transport. Others from the team, more than 200 in number, take part in one of the races themselves. "In keeping with the motto 'LINZ AG runs', many of our ranks are once again at the start.
Even more colleagues are making sure that everything runs smoothly behind the marathon scenes," says General Director Erich Haider. LINZ AG makes an important contribution to the quality of life. The supply of drinking water is just as much a part of the Group's tasks as the energy supply, a modern public transport system or the disposal of waste and wastewater.
