Special registration for corporate and private teams, the next entry deadline is approaching.
Only 79 days to go before Linz once again becomes the running capital of Austria at the Oberbank Danube Marathon. Already next week on August 13 is the second entry deadline, to which a discounted registration is still possible.
The event offers a special registration option for large company teams as well as private teams and groups. A collective registration can be done online in a simplified form until October 1. In addition, there is the possibility to book a collective pick-up at a special price. This eliminates the need for participants to queue, as the starting packages are already prepared and can be picked up easily at the TipsArena Linz. In recent years, LINZ AG, Landjugend Oberösterreich and the Barmherzige Schwestern Linz have traditionally competed for the title of "largest team at the Linz Danube Marathon".
The special classifications "School runs" and "Fire brigade runs" will also be offered at this year's Linz Marathon. The fire department with the most participants and the district with the most participants will receive prizes in kind, while the fastest students and the school with the most starters will receive vouchers from the Star Movie cinemas. Banner Batterien is supporting this campaign with special T-shirts as motivation for the students. And for all Linzers or participants with Linz club affiliation, there will be a separate city ranking in the marathon and half-marathon events.
