The Junior Marathon will take place the day before the 25. Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon at the Hofmann Personal Stadium on the new railroad bridge, on Samstag, 10. April 2027.
Junior Marathon, the children's game:
For our youngest runners, it's not a best time that counts, but the Olympic motto "Faster, Higher, Stronger, Together". Quite a few participants later find their way from the junior marathon to the races of the "big ones". The children's game on the day before the marathon Sunday is a family festival dedicated to the joy of movement. Not only taking part, but also watching is the real joy. Our mascots will also be working up a sweat again and will be on the running course at the MascotRun!
Fair play:
We ensure respectful interaction with each other both on and off the course. Safety, equal opportunities and fair play are our top priorities!

As part of the ÖGK Junior Marathon a Samstag, 10. April 2027, the Family Party powered by LINZ AG is taking place again this year!
Kuddelmuddel, a LIVA company, will be organizing fun and exciting programs that invite you to join in.

Registration deadline
Attention: Limited number of participants of 2,000 children! As soon as the participant limit has been reached, no more registrations will be accepted! No late registration!
Attention: NO entry fee! Register in time to secure your starting place!
Accompanying the runners by persons not participating in the running events is prohibited!

Mascot run
After the "Minis" competitions, the mascot run will take place at around 12:45 pm.
The Linz Marathon mascot LiMa will be at the starting line together with other mascots from sponsors and partners.
Arrival
We ask all participants and visitors to travel to the Junior Marathon by public transport. The location of the Junior Marathon at the Neue Eisenbahnbrücke can be easily reached with the Linz Linien using the stops "Linke Brückenstraße", "Petzoldstraße" or "Schlachthof". It is only a few minutes' walk from the respective stops to the Junior Marathon site.
The entire railroad bridge will be closed to traffic on this day from 7 am to 6 pm.

Green Event
The Oberbank Linz Donau Marathon will once again place a clear emphasis on the responsible use of resources and environmental protection at its upcoming event. In recent years, the organization has received professional guidance and undergone ongoing sustainability reviews. The goal is to set another example for environmentally conscious and sustainable events.
Waste Reduction
We ask our visitors to avoid waste as much as possible and to dispose of any unavoidable waste through the separate collection system provided at the event.
To ensure successful implementation, we are also counting on the support of our participants and ask that they play an active role—whether by using public transportation or by properly sorting their waste.
