After exactly 10 years, Ukrainian Alexander Kuzin returns to the site of one of his greatest successes in 2007. At 2:07:33, Kuzin ran the fastest marathon time ever run in Linz. Kuzin's Linz record remains unbroken to this day.
A comeback of a special kind
Kuzin now works as a running coach in Ukraine. On April 9, the Ukrainian will make a comeback of a special kind with a handsome "Kuzin Marathon Team" on the occasion of the 16th Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon. This time Kuzin will not be competing as a runner, but as a coach who will be cheering on his Ukrainian marathon team. The team has already been preparing for the Linz Marathon for some time under the guidance of the running pro in Ukraine. It will be interesting to see what times Kuzin's protégés deliver in Linz.
