The fire departments and districts in Upper Austria with the most participants were honored.
As part of the 24th Oberbank Linz Donau Marathon on April 12, 2026, many additional competitions also took place: The school runs and fire department runs campaigns and the Linz city champions in the marathon and half marathon were also scored.
The award ceremony for these rankings took place on May 5, 2026 in the Old Town Hall.
Fire department runs at the Linz Marathon
Strong together in action - fast together on the running course. The Fire Brigade Runs campaign determines the fire departments and districts in Upper Austria with the most participants. Participation in all running competitions counts towards the ranking. The evaluation is based on the percentage of members.
