The Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon is THE service marathon for runners. In addition to the tried-and-tested LIVA and Oberbank running meetings in Linz, there will also be running training sessions in cooperation with the Linz Marathon in four other regions of Upper Austria starting in 2017/2018. In Linz, the motto is: "Prepare for the Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon with the two fastest marathon runners in Austria!" But it is not only in Linz that you have the opportunity to be professionally coached; experienced and enthusiastic coaches are also available in Steyr, Ried, St. Wolfgang and Rohrbach. Registration is not necessary for any of the running events and participation is free of charge!
Steyr
The enthusiastic runner and physiotherapist Florian Reiter is the partner of the Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon in Steyr for the newly created running meetings outside Linz. In cooperation with Günther Weidlinger, he will offer seven running meetings. The start is at 9:00 a.m. at the athletics facility of the city of Steyr, Rennbahnweg 6a. Ried
In the Innviertel region, a very active association has agreed to be a partner of the Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon. LAG Ried will run its existing running club in cooperation with the Linz Marathon and will take care of our runners from the Innviertel. The running meetings will take place weekly on Monday at 18:30 at Stadion Ried, Voglweg 11, 4910 Ried. On 16.10.2017 Günther Weidlinger will also be present, run along and of course try to answer all questions.
St.Wolfgang
The Salzkammergut is also involved in the extensive running support for the starters of the Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon. In St. Wolfgang, the home of the Wolfgangsee Run - a major partner of the Linz Marathon - there is a weekly run on Monday at 19:30 at the Rosenstüberl inn in Strobl-Weißenbach. There will be time for a leisurely chat during and after the run with Günther Weidlinger, co-organizer of the Linz Marathon, on 02.10.2017.
Rohrbach
In the Mühlviertel, the Union Rohrbach/Berg with its running section has agreed to support the running event of the Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon. The winter training sessions start from Saturday 25.11.2017 at 9:00 at the Mosthütte Stifterstraße 69, 4150 Berg bei Rohrbach. Currently, the summer running meetings are still taking place, the homepage will be updated in October.
