Three events in one afternoon - February 3, 2023 at the TipsArena Linz.
Running shoe test powered by Intersport Winninger
From 14:00 - 19:00, the latest running shoe models from well-known running shoe brands can be tested.
Solomon, Hoka, ON Running, Brooks, Polar heart rate monitors and Under Armour will be presenting their products. The running shoes can be tested on the running track in the TipsArena, but also outdoors.
All running shoe test participants will receive a € 20.00 voucher for running shoes at Intersport Winninger.
Lactate test
In cooperation with Dr. Ronald Ecker and the Sportkompetenzzentrum Oberösterreich we can offer a lactate test again this year. There will be three starting blocks: 15:00 - 15:45 - 16:30. Dr. Ecker will be in charge of the allocation.
The testing will take place as follows:
- Arrival of the athletes ideally 15 minutes before the start: Data recording
- Putting on the heart rate belts (please bring your own)
- Run in small groups (max. 8 people), 1000m distances each (= 5 laps in the Tips Arena), the leader will be given a "marching chart" to keep to the specified pace as accurately as possible.
- After each stage, the heart rate is documented and lactate is measured (from the earlobe)
- Cost: 100 €
The evaluation takes place afterwards and is sent by e-mail.
Guglwald moves running group
The first Guglwald bewegt running meeting will take place on February 3, 2023 at 5:30 pm. At this running meeting there is the exclusive opportunity to try out top running shoes at the running shoe test and try them out right away at the running meeting. The running route leads to the beautiful Freinberg in Linz or the Bauernbergpark. Afterwards there will be a refreshment station with snacks and drinks.
