As a small thank you for their efforts at the Linz Marathon, the volunteers were invited to a meal at the Brucknerhaus.
Last Friday, May 4, 2018, the traditional thank you party for the volunteers took place at the Anklang restaurant in the Brucknerhaus. During the entire marathon weekend, around 350 volunteers were on duty to support and help out with the event. Starting with the filling of the starter bags, to the distribution of start numbers, to the handing out of medals. The helpers were also active at the individual refreshment stations, as course marshals, as motorcyclists, at the clothing bag drop-off and at many other tasks. Without the tireless efforts of the numerous helpers, the Linz Marathon would not be feasible - MANY THANKS!
