The Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon can once again be pleased about the award of the European Athletics Association.
Running events from all over Europe can register on the platform "Running For All". The registrations are divided into three standards by means of 54 categories: 1 star, 3 stars, 5 stars. In order to guarantee legitimacy and credibility, the rated categories were determined in cooperation with runners, organizers, member associations, race experts and sports physicians. The Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon can once again look forward to the highest award - 5 stars. The Linz Marathon was able to score points in all areas such as administration, course, social responsibility, course measurement, medical care, results service, timing, safety and value for money.
Thus, the largest mass sports event in the country absolutely lives up to its image as a service-oriented marathon.
