Banner Batterien has been supporting the "Schule läuft" project since 2017 - entry deadline is March 16!
Sports are fun, relaxing and help to stay healthy. And because movement is simply part of growing up healthy, it is a great concern for the company Banner Batteries to actively support the project "Schule läuft" again this year.
"Exercise is an essential motor for maintaining good health. With our environmentally friendly start-stop batteries, we make a significant contribution to the reduction of pollutants and provide daily exercise in the mobile sector. Likewise, some Banner employees have been taking part in a wide variety of Linz Marathon events for many years. That's why we're delighted to have been supporting the "School Runs" project since 2017," says Banner Marketing Manager Mag. Katrin Hilpold, MBA.
The "Schule läuft" project has now been a hit for 14 years. Every year, around 2,000 students and teachers run together in a wide variety of events at the Linz Marathon. The schools with the fastest relay and quarter marathon times are awarded prizes. The provincial school board even declares the project an annual school-related event.

"This year there will also be a raffle for the Schule läuft project, which is supported by Banner Batterien. We are giving away attractive prizes for the three most original selfies with the "Schule läuft T-Shirt"," says Banner marketing manager Katrin Hilpold. The conditions of participation will be announced on the Facebook page of Banner Batterien and via the Linz Marathon Instagram page.
Pupils and teachers from elementary schools, secondary schools, grammar schools, vocational schools or apprentices (vocational school students) who are still in apprenticeship training and higher vocational schools are eligible to participate.
The registration deadline for "Schule läuft" is March 16, 2018 at the Linz Marathon office. The award ceremony for the "Schule läuft" project will take place on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Old City Hall in Linz.
The Banner marketing team, LIVA sports coordinator Günther Weidlinger and the Neue Sportmittelschule Linz-Kleinmünchen are looking forward to "Schule läuft" at the 17th Linz Danube Marathon.
