No more guesswork: train smarter, not harder!

Does this sound familiar? You’re out for a run, pushing yourself, but you’re actually wondering: Am I running at the right pace right now? Am I really training in the fat-burning zone, or am I already heading towards overtraining?
The answers to these questions often come from our gut feeling – but our gut feeling can sometimes be misleading. If you really want to make progress without burning out, you need facts. And that’s exactly where we come in!
Your upgrade for training success: the free lactate test
We’ve got some brilliant news for you! In collaboration with the Ausdauerzentrum Österreich and YouB, we’re offering a real highlight at the running meet on 28 November 2026: a professional lactate test – completely free of charge!
Why have a lactate test at all?
Lactate (lactic acid) is the key to your optimal training. With a precise measurement, we can determine exactly where your individual anaerobic threshold lies. The result?
- Perfect training zones: no more standard tables, just figures tailored to your body.
- More efficient fat metabolism: Learn at what pace you burn energy most effectively.
- Injury prevention: Avoid the classic mistake of always running ‘too fast’.
Lactate test
We bring the science to life right on the course. Here’s the plan for 28 November 2026 at the Parkbad:
- The starting point: As soon as you arrive at the Parkbad, we’ll measure your resting lactate level – your personal baseline.
- Getting into the flow together: We’ll start our running session ( an approx. 90-minute steady-pace run). You’ll run with your usual group at your base pace – just as you normally do in training.
- The check-up: Immediately afterwards, we’ll carry out the second lactate test.
- Finding your limit: A targeted pace control run is used to test your performance limits.
- The finale: A third lactate test rounds off the session and provides the data you need for optimal training management.
