Generali 5K
Generali 5K, Run & Fun: Until now, the quarter marathon of around ten kilometers was the short program in Linz. To improve the "run-fun balance", it is now possible to start the marathon Sunday already with the five-kilometer run. This "eighth marathon" is long enough for newcomers. The course is Linz-typical flat & brisk, as for the unique atmosphere at the finish line on the main square, even runners on the shortest distance get the full marathon dose.
Routing
The course of the Generali 5K was measured by AIMS surveyor Rainer Soos with the Jones Counter bike according to IAAF guidelines.
