Family Area

Creative break for families in the music pavilion at 24. Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon.

Family Area at the Linz Marathon

On Marathon Sunday, the children's cultural center Kuddelmuddel invites you to a relaxed family break in the music pavilion from 10 am to 3 pm. Here, children and accompanying adults can take a deep breath, play and be creative.

The music pavilion is centrally located between the Brucknerhaus and the start area and just a few minutes' walk from the finish on the main square - an easily accessible oasis of calm along the marathon route.

With the Family Area, we offer family members who are not running a creative and fun breather. You can make cheering paraphernalia that is also easy to hear. Or design your own personal cheering sign, complete with your drawing and painting skills, and the wonderful works of art will spark a real fire of energy in the running family member.

In the music and dance corner, there is a program for all those hungry for movement. Those who prefer to retreat to an exciting book or picture book will find suitable literature in the reading corner. And the colorful Kuddelmuddel game tables invite you to play and, with a little luck with the dice, you'll come out on top. The Kuddelmuddel creative team awaits you with a colorful offer.

The Family Area is open to all families - whether as spectators or accompanying the runners - and will be a meeting place for a few hours for a relaxed break in the middle of the major sporting event.
