Pop Choir Linz - Pop, Rock, Soul

The POP Choir Linz stands for tangible joy in singing together - creating musical experiences that touch and inspire. With a varied repertoire of pop, rock, soul and current chart hits, the ensemble has been delighting audiences in and around Linz since it was founded in 2014.

For the marathon, Manuela Gebetsroither and her band have made it their mission to give runners extra motivation on their long or short journey with songs such as "running up that hill".

But be careful: don't stop!!! The next POP Choir Linz concert opportunity is sure to come!

Baqueta Axe - Percussion

In cooperation with Oö. Landesmusikschulwerk

The Baqueta Axe percussion ensemble brings driving rhythms and energetic beats to the track with around 15 enthusiastic musicians from the Music School of the City of Linz. Year after year, they motivate runners and spectators alike

Cheering Zone HWYD Club - DJ

At our Cheering Zone, Nico Roschnai will be DJing along the route. A barista from TUTTO BERNY will also be on site to provide runners and spectators with caffeine. Honeder will be there with around 300 marathoners, Vitamin Well will be bringing refreshing drinks and, of course, cowbells and megaphones will be on hand for extra motivation.

There will also be a cheer-sign station where visitors can design their own cheering posters. A special highlight: all distances run past our cheering zone - the full marathon distance even twice. This makes it the ideal spot to cheer on the runners really loudly.

The lightning blue food truck from the Lebensmittelretter association will also be on site in the cheering zone! IS NU GUAT feat. Verein Lebensmittelretter offer samples of rescued food.

Samples of rescued food await you - because every bite counts in the fight against food waste. Drop by, try it out and join in! Let's show it together: Saving food is easy - and delicious!

MANØ x Jaz Laz - DJ

MANØ & Jaz Laz are a DJ duo from Linz that stands for energetic, cross-genre sets. Between dance, trance, UKG, trap and bass, they combine remixes, live mash-ups and well-known vocals to create an unmistakable sound.

Known for their appearances at Bubbledays Festival and their THERAPY/ event series, they create spaces where community, energy and club culture come together. Their sets thrive on intensity, diversity and the shared moment on the dance floor.

Naschling Brass - Brass + vocals

In cooperation with Oö. Landesmusikschulwerk

The unusual band composition of four low brass instruments, percussion and a singer makes you sit up and take notice.

With unusual arrangements from the fields of folk music, jazz and rock/pop, Naschling Brass creates a multi-faceted and independent sound that combines tradition and modernity in an exciting way.

MIA4 + drums - Saxophone quartet, jazz

In cooperation with Oö. Landesmusikschulwerk

Mia 4 is a saxophone quartet from the Landesmusikschule Puchenau. At the Linz Marathon, the formation will be joined by drummer Klaus Eglauer.

As a purely acoustic ensemble, Mia 4 is dedicated to 20th century jazz and more recent stylistic developments. Improvisational excursions, groovy elements and wide-ranging melodic arcs characterize their sound.

PMI Super Brass Big Band - Pop, Funk, Soul

In cooperation with Oö. Landesmusikschulwerk

At the Linz Marathon, the Puchenau State Music School ensemble will be joined by the HTL1 Big Band. Together they will provide musical energy along the route. The focus is on pop, funk and soul music interpreted by five trumpeters, five saxophonists, four trombonists as well as a pianist, electric guitarist and electric bassist.

Sketches of Sina - Pop, rock, funk

In cooperation with Oö. Landesmusikschulwerk

Five young musicians from the Landesmusikschule Puchenau are guaranteed to keep your feet tapping with lush beats, funky rhythms and driving basslines. Led by two powerful singers and supported by spacy synth sounds, they create a unique sound that is both modern and carried by pure joy of playing.

Their repertoire is as diverse as it is energetic: A mixture of funky cover versions, creative mash-ups and their own compositions. Sketches of Sina succeed in reinterpreting well-known songs, combining them in surprising ways and giving them their very own style - sometimes playful, sometimes driving, but always with groove in their hearts.

The HYDRA - DJs

The many heads of HYDRA stick their necks into the most diverse locations and clubs in the city: three heads in the KAPU, two in the STWST, all five in the Smaragd or at spontaneous open airs on the banks of the Danube. What unites them? An irrepressible urge for bass, sweat and collective ecstasy. #bumbummitniveau echoes throughout Linz and far beyond. Groovy beats meet dark synth lines and uncompromising techno. Stroboscope on sunglasses, flamingo on nznznz - the main thing is that it bangs. And it bangs with attitude: HYDRA stands for club culture based on solidarity, temporary free spaces for everyone who wants to lose themselves in bass. Let yourself be transported into a vibrating state of emergency. Expect pressure on your chest, sweaty walls and a collective that sinks into the sound with you.

Mochma Musi - Acoustic, harmonica

In cooperation with Oö. Landesmusikschulwerk

We all got to know each other at the music school in Marchtrenk and Wels under the direction of MS teacher Marianne Nimmervoll. Our group was later taken over by Sabine Schwarz-Brunnmair. We are now joined by a double bass player from Linz. From time to time, our teacher Sabine Schwarz-Brunnmair plays along with the harmonica. We have been enthusiastically making music at the marathon in Linz since 2017. We are a music-loving group. We also play at church services and Mr. Neumair gave a wonderful performance at the Ursulinenhof at an event organized by the Upper Austrian Photographic Society. Our most wonderful experience was playing music at the Upper Austrian Ball in Vienna at the City Hall.
