Half marathon, not a half-measure: Even half the way to the marathon distance leads to the atmospheric finish area on Linz's main square. Quite rightly, the half-marathon finishers also receive not half, but full recognition in this way. For many, the half marathon is an important step towards the classic distance, for some the 21.1 kilometers remains the personal limit.

Routing

The course of the 25. Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon was measured by the AIMS surveyor Rainer Soos with the Jones Counter bicycle according to the IAAF guidelines.

Linz City Championship

The Linz City Half Marathon Champions will be determined as part of the Linz Danube Marathon. All runners who have their primary residence in Linz or are members of a Linz-based running club are eligible to participate. When registering, participants must check a box to enter this competition.
